Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2019 Il Ponte held the auction Fotografia, which included the work Israel, family looking the Promised Land 1948-1950 by Robert Capa. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 450.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Capa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Death of a Loyalist Soldier in April 2018 with an auction result of USD 162,500.00 (€ 134,586.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2019 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Fotografia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Israel, family looking the Promised Land 1948-1950 von Robert Capa zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 450,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Capa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Death of a Loyalist Soldier im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 162.500,00 (€ 134.586,72).
