The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - USD 7,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than seven times as high at USD 52,500.00 (€ 44,987.15). This high result makes Circle with Red the most expensive artwork by Robert Arthur Goodnough that we have observed at auctions so far.
