This artwork by Rob van Koningsbruggen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2020. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art: Amsterdam auction, the work without title sold for EUR 37,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Rob van Koningsbruggen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Geel Rood Blauw II over I III over I (Yellow Red Blue II over I III over I) sold at auction in June 2020 with the realized price of EUR 68,750.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Rob van Koningsbruggen erzielte im November 2020 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art: Amsterdam wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 37.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Rob van Koningsbruggen; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Geel Rood Blauw II over I III over I (Yellow Red Blue II over I III over I) im Juni 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 68.750,00.
