Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Rob van Koningsbruggen was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in October last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 20,160.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rob van Koningsbruggen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Geel Rood Blauw II over I III over I (Yellow Red Blue II over I III over I), which sold at auction in June 2020 for EUR 68,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rob van Koningsbruggen kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 20.160,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Rob van Koningsbruggen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Geel Rood Blauw II over I III over I (Yellow Red Blue II over I III over I) beobachtet, die im Juni 2020 für EUR 68.750,00 versteigert wurde.
