Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
This work without title by Rob van Koningsbruggen was worth EUR 32,500.00 to a buyer in November 2018. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art at Christies in Amsterdam and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rob van Koningsbruggen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Geel Rood Blauw II over I III over I (Yellow Red Blue II over I III over I), which sold at auction in June 2020 for EUR 68,750.00.

Die Arbeit ohne Titel von Rob van Koningsbruggen war einem Käufer im November 2018 EUR 32.500,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Rob van Koningsbruggen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Geel Rood Blauw II over I III over I (Yellow Red Blue II over I III over I) beobachtet, die im Juni 2020 für EUR 68.750,00 versteigert wurde.
