Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Panda Slide by Rob Pruitt. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,368.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rob Pruitt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 6:20Pm, Late Summer in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 315,000.00 (€ 242,531.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Panda Slide von Rob Pruitt zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.368,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rob Pruitt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 6:20Pm, Late Summer im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 315.000,00 (€ 242.531,57).
