Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Refraction; Electric Dreams (2 works) by Rita Letendre was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in February 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 600.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of USD 637.50 (€ 578.23) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rita Letendre achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Signes S'Envolent in June 2010 with an auction result of CAD 71,500.00 (€ 54,845.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Refraction; Electric Dreams (2 works) von Rita Letendre kam im Februar 2020 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 600,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 637,50 (€ 578,23) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rita Letendre erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Signes S'Envolent im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CAD 71.500,00 (€ 54.845,17).
