Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2010 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work Le Cri by Rita Letendre. The price achieved of CAD 30,000.00 (€ 22,414.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rita Letendre - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Les Signes S'Envolent, which sold at auction in June 2010 for CAD 71,500.00 (€ 54,845.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2010 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Cri von Rita Letendre zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CAD 30.000,00 (€ 22.414,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CAD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rita Letendre mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Les Signes S'Envolent beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für CAD 71.500,00 (€ 54.845,17) versteigert wurde.
