A top price for Rieko Sakurai
When the work Dots Girl by Rieko Sakurai was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 120,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than five times as high at HKD 667,500.00 (€ 54,952.92). This high result makes Dots Girl the most expensive artwork by Rieko Sakurai that we have observed at auctions so far.

Als die Arbeit Dots Girl von Rieko Sakurai im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches.
