The work Seascape by Rick Amor was sold in the Australian, International & Contemporary Paintings Part II auction at Christies in Melbourne in April 2006. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 23,900.00 (€ 14,375.21), 59% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rick Amor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Australian Evening By The Sea, which sold at auction in August 2007 for AUD 90,000.00 (€ 53,817.90).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 23.900,00 (€ 14.375,21) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Rick Amor mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Australian Evening By The Sea beobachtet, die im August 2007 für AUD 90.000,00 (€ 53.817,90) versteigert wurde.
