Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Senza titolo by Richard Long was auctioned at Il Ponte in December 2020. It achieved a price of EUR 7,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Long achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 200,000.00 (€ 171,379.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Senza titolo von Richard Long kam im Dezember 2020 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 7.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Long erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 200.000,00 (€ 171.379,61).
