Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Earth Mother (Tapestry) by Richard Lindner was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in May last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,650.00 (€ 7,128.88) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Lindner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stranger N°1 - 1958 in December 2016 with an auction result of EUR 802,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Earth Mother (Tapestry) von Richard Lindner kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.650,00 (€ 7.128,88) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Lindner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stranger N°1 - 1958 im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 802.600,00.
