Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 17,920.00 (€ 16,428.31), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Lindner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stranger N°1 - 1958 in December 2016 with an auction result of EUR 802,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 24 Hour Self-Service von Richard Lindner kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 17.920,00 (€ 16.428,31) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Lindner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stranger N°1 - 1958 im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 802.600,00.
