A top price for Richard Deacon - as previously expected
The work Breath by Richard Deacon was auctioned at Phillips in London in June 2010. It changed hands for a price of GBP 85,250.00 (€ 103,671.93) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Breath is the most expensive artwork by Richard Deacon that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Breath von Richard Deacon kam im Juni 2010 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 85.250,00 (€ 103.671,93) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Breath das teuerste Kunstwerk von Richard Deacon, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
