In the Old Master & 19th Century Art auction, the work Joyeuse Compagnie Dans Un Intérieur sold for EUR 2,860.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Brakenburgh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Eve of Saint Nicholas in November 2011 with an auction result of EUR 58,600.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Richard Brakenburgh erzielte im September 2017 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art wurde die Arbeit Joyeuse Compagnie Dans Un Intérieur für EUR 2.860,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Brakenburgh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Eve of Saint Nicholas im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 58.600,00.
