Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 1,187.50 (€ 835.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Blossom Farley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Girls playing on a magical beach, which sold at auction in October 2008 for USD 3,500.00 (€ 2,759.82).
