The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,626.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Richard Barrett Davis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work British sir Roger De Coverly And His Hounds in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 23,750.00 (€ 19,208.99).
