Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rock by Rezi van Lankveld was auctioned at Christies in New York in December 2018. The price achieved of USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,146.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rezi van Lankveld - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Píetà, which sold at auction in November 2012 for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,628.80).

Die Arbeit Rock von Rezi van Lankveld kam im Dezember 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.146,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rezi van Lankveld mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Píetà beobachtet, die im November 2012 für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.628,80) versteigert wurde.
