Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2018 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Mother Of Pearl by Rezi van Lankveld. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rezi van Lankveld - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Píetà, which sold at auction in November 2012 for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,628.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2018 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mother Of Pearl von Rezi van Lankveld zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rezi van Lankveld mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Píetà beobachtet, die im November 2012 für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.628,80) versteigert wurde.
