Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2006 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours, which included the work An Overshot Mill by James Bourne. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 400.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 456.00 (€ 653.37). Other works by James Bourne have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 480.00 (€ 705.18) in November 2005 for the work The Steamship Teutonic.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Overshot Mill von James Bourne zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 400,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 456,00 (€ 653,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von James Bourne haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 480,00 (€ 705,18) im November 2005 für die Arbeit The Steamship Teutonic beobachtet.
