Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tiberias by Reuven Rubin was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2019. The price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 56,720.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reuven Rubin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Road To Meron in December 2015 with an auction result of USD 634,000.00 (€ 583,847.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tiberias von Reuven Rubin kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 56.720,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reuven Rubin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Road To Meron im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 634.000,00 (€ 583.847,50).
