Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli and International Art, which included the work Safed In Galilee by Reuven Rubin. The price achieved of USD 81,250.00 (€ 73,736.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Reuven Rubin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Road To Meron in December 2015 with an auction result of USD 634,000.00 (€ 583,847.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli and International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Safed In Galilee von Reuven Rubin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 73.736,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Reuven Rubin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Road To Meron im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 634.000,00 (€ 583.847,50).
