Sold at the lower estimate price
In November 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli and International Art, which included the work Near Safed by Reuven Rubin. The result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 54,451.40) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reuven Rubin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Road To Meron in December 2015 with an auction result of USD 634,000.00 (€ 583,847.50).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli and International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Near Safed von Reuven Rubin zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 54.451,40) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reuven Rubin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Road To Meron im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 634.000,00 (€ 583.847,50).
