Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Retna was sold in the Wired: Online Auction auction at Phillips in 12 - in April this year. The price achieved of GBP 10,160.00 (€ 11,579.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Retna achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sorcery of My Style in April last year with an auction result of GBP 100,800.00 (€ 120,200.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Retna wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Wired: Online Auction bei Phillips in 12 - versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.160,00 (€ 11.579,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Retna erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sorcery of My Style im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 100.800,00 (€ 120.200,44).
