Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Natura morta by Renzo Vespignani was sold in the Centuries of Beauty - A Refined Private Collection auction at Christies in Paris in June this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,016.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Renzo Vespignani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Barche sulla spiaggia in November 2000 with an auction result of ITL 11,162,500.00 (€ 10,271.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Natura morta von Renzo Vespignani wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Centuries of Beauty - A Refined Private Collection bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.016,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Renzo Vespignani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Barche sulla spiaggia im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 11.162.500,00 (€ 10.271,45).
