The work Barche sulla spiaggia by Renzo Vespignani was sold in the ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA auction at Christies in Milan in November 2000. Here, the upper estimate of ITL 10,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for ITL 11,162,500.00 (€ 10,271.45). With this result, Barche sulla spiaggia is even the most expensive work of art by Renzo Vespignani that we have observed at auctions so far.
