Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mia madre by Renzo Vespignani was sold in the ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA auction at Christies in Milan in May 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 8,680.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Renzo Vespignani have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2000 the work Barche sulla spiaggia was auctioned for ITL 11,162,500.00 (€ 10,271.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mia madre von Renzo Vespignani wurde im Mai 2003 in der Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 8.680,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Renzo Vespignani konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2000 die Arbeit Barche sulla spiaggia für ITL 11.162.500,00 (€ 10.271,45) versteigert.
