Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2012 Artcurial held the auction Modern Art 2, which included the work Le Champs De Ble by René Auguste Seyssaud. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,891.00 22% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by René Auguste Seyssaud have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bateaux À Quai, Vers 1935 in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 22,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Modern Art 2 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Champs De Ble von René Auguste Seyssaud zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.891,00 und damit 22% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von René Auguste Seyssaud auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bateaux À Quai, Vers 1935 im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.800,00.
