Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,650.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by René Auguste Seyssaud - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bateaux À Quai, Vers 1935, which sold at auction in May 2006 for EUR 22,800.00.
