In May 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Jacket by Renato Meziat. The »bidding war« ended at USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,013.64), 53% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Renato Meziat; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Flowers sold at auction in May 2017 with the realized price of USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,149.88).

Im Mai 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jacket von Renato Meziat zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 25.013,64) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Renato Meziat; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The Flowers im Mai 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.149,88).
