Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Renato Meziat could be acquired at Christies in New York in November 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Art Online auction, the work Praia De Ipanema Com Crianças changed hands for USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,510.88) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Renato Meziat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Flowers in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,149.88).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Renato Meziat konnte im November 2020 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Latin American Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Praia De Ipanema Com Crianças für USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.510,88) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Renato Meziat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Flowers im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.149,88).
