Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,189.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Renato Meziat have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Flowers in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,149.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vase With Yellow Flowers von Renato Meziat wurde im August 2020 in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.189,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Renato Meziat auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Flowers im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.149,88).
