Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Renate Aller could be acquired at Christies in New York in June 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work Ocean, October 11th, 2008 changed hands for USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,895.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Renate Aller have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dicotyledon #11, 2012 in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 28,533.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Renate Aller konnte im Juni 2020 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs wechselte die Arbeit Ocean, October 11th, 2008 für USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.895,47) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Renate Aller auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dicotyledon #11, 2012 im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 28.533,80).
