Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Guan Yin by Ren Xun was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 141,600.00 (€ 16,184.67) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ren Xun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Phoenix in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 740,000.00 (€ 68,338.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Guan Yin von Ren Xun wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 141.600,00 (€ 16.184,67) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ren Xun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Phoenix im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 740.000,00 (€ 68.338,71).
