Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Figures by Ren Xun was worth HKD 51,000.00 (€ 5,539.92) to a buyer in June 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Chinese Paintings Online at Bonhams in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 12,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ren Xun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Phoenix in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 740,000.00 (€ 68,338.71).
Kunstwerk zum Vierfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Figures von Ren Xun war einem Käufer im Juni 2021 HKD 51.000,00 (€ 5.539,92) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Chinese Paintings Online bei Bonhams in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 12.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ren Xun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Phoenix im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 740.000,00 (€ 68.338,71).
