Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Duanwu Flower In A Guan Vase by Ren Xiong was sold in the The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy III auction at Bonhams in New York in September 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 19,062.50 (€ 16,465.84). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ren Xiong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Drinking Cards with Illustrations of Daoist Immortals in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 5,765,000.00 (€ 668,633.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Duanwu Flower In A Guan Vase von Ren Xiong wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy III bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 19.062,50 (€ 16.465,84) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ren Xiong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Drinking Cards with Illustrations of Daoist Immortals im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.765.000,00 (€ 668.633,27).
