Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work 'SCHAU, ICH BIN BLIND, SCHAU' by Rémy Zaugg was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 225,000.00 – 250,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 180,000.00 (€ 15,244.13). Admittedly, works by Rémy Zaugg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work About Death Ii (Triptych) I. And If Death I Were Blind Eyes Ii. And If Death I Were Lips Eyes Iii. Untitled in December 2017 with an auction result of CHF 97,500.00 (€ 83,282.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit 'SCHAU, ICH BIN BLIND, SCHAU' von Rémy Zaugg im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 225.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 180.000,00 (€ 15.244,13) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rémy Zaugg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit About Death Ii (Triptych) I. And If Death I Were Blind Eyes Ii. And If Death I Were Lips Eyes Iii. Untitled im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 97.500,00 (€ 83.282,94).
