Sold at the upper estimate price
In June 2020 Sothebys in Zurich held the auction Swiss Made UNLOCKED, which included the work Schau, Ich Bin Blind, Schau, 1997 by Rémy Zaugg. The auction ended at the price of CHF 30,000.00 (€ 28,215.65), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of CHF 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rémy Zaugg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work About Death Ii (Triptych) I. And If Death I Were Blind Eyes Ii. And If Death I Were Lips Eyes Iii. Untitled, which sold at auction in December 2017 for CHF 97,500.00 (€ 83,282.94).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in Zürich die Auktion Swiss Made UNLOCKED durch, in der auch die Arbeit Schau, Ich Bin Blind, Schau, 1997 von Rémy Zaugg zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von CHF 30.000,00 (€ 28.215,65) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rémy Zaugg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit About Death Ii (Triptych) I. And If Death I Were Blind Eyes Ii. And If Death I Were Lips Eyes Iii. Untitled beobachtet, die im Dezember 2017 für CHF 97.500,00 (€ 83.282,94) versteigert wurde.
