Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape With A House On A Hillside by Remigio Cantagallina was sold in the Master Drawings auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,500.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Remigio Cantagallina - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View Of The Countryside Around The Village Of Pratieghi, With An Artist Sketching In The Foreground, which sold at auction in January 2013 for USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,563.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape With A House On A Hillside von Remigio Cantagallina wurde im Januar 2016 in der Auktion Master Drawings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.500,92) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
