Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A capriccio of a port with boats and figures by Remigio Cantagallina was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 5,737.50 (€ 6,409.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Remigio Cantagallina - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View Of The Countryside Around The Village Of Pratieghi, With An Artist Sketching In The Foreground, which sold at auction in January 2013 for USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,563.60).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.737,50 (€ 6.409,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
