In January 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work A Wooded Landscape With A Traveler And His Dog Approaching A Coastal Town by Remigio Cantagallina for USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,200.30). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Drawings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house.
