Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work A Wooded Landscape With A Traveler And His Dog Approaching A Coastal Town by Remigio Cantagallina for USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,200.30). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Drawings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Remigio Cantagallina have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View Of The Countryside Around The Village Of Pratieghi, With An Artist Sketching In The Foreground in January 2013 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,563.60).

Im Januar 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Wooded Landscape With A Traveler And His Dog Approaching A Coastal Town von Remigio Cantagallina für USD 2.375,00 (€ 2.200,30) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Drawings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00.
