Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2016 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Drawings and British Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work A farm with a haystack and a barn to the left and right, a man standing by a flight of steps by Remigio Cantagallina. The price achieved of GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,776.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Remigio Cantagallina have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View Of The Countryside Around The Village Of Pratieghi, With An Artist Sketching In The Foreground in January 2013 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,563.60).

Im Dezember 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Drawings and British Drawings and Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit A farm with a haystack and a barn to the left and right, a man standing by a flight of steps von Remigio Cantagallina zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.776,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
