In July 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction Master Drawings from a Distinguished European Collection, which included the work A Wooded Landscape, With Two Figures At A Garden Entrance To The Left by Remigio Cantagallina. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,763.43), 61% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Remigio Cantagallina - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View Of The Countryside Around The Village Of Pratieghi, With An Artist Sketching In The Foreground, which sold at auction in January 2013 for USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,563.60).

Im Juli 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Master Drawings from a Distinguished European Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Wooded Landscape, With Two Figures At A Garden Entrance To The Left von Remigio Cantagallina zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.763,43) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Remigio Cantagallina mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View Of The Countryside Around The Village Of Pratieghi, With An Artist Sketching In The Foreground beobachtet, die im Januar 2013 für USD 22.500,00 (€ 16.563,60) versteigert wurde.
