Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Rémy Blanchard achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in October 2006. In the Contemporary Art 2 auction, the work Le Colosse, 1992 sold for EUR 4,070.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rémy Blanchard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Man With Lantern And Feather, which sold at auction in July 2021 for USD 16,562.50 (€ 13,960.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rémy Blanchard erzielte im Oktober 2006 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art 2 wurde die Arbeit Le Colosse, 1992 für EUR 4.070,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rémy Blanchard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Man With Lantern And Feather beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für USD 16.562,50 (€ 13.960,30) versteigert wurde.
