Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Reginald Marsh could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in November 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Art auction, the work Girls on a Merry-Go-Round and Statue of Liberty: A Double-Sided Work changed hands for USD 8,925.00 (€ 7,907.33) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reginald Marsh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Merry-Go-Round in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 790,000.00 (€ 747,964.40).
