Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Girl Walking (Elevated) by Reginald Marsh was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June last year. The price achieved of USD 1,020.00 (€ 974.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reginald Marsh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Merry-Go-Round in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 790,000.00 (€ 747,964.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Girl Walking (Elevated) von Reginald Marsh wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.020,00 (€ 974,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reginald Marsh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Merry-Go-Round im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 790.000,00 (€ 747.964,40).
