Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2016 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work La rêveuse by Raymond Jean Legueult. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,002.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raymond Jean Legueult - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fenêtre Ouverte Sur Le Jardin, which sold at auction in June 2013 for EUR 20,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La rêveuse von Raymond Jean Legueult zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.002,45) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Raymond Jean Legueult mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fenêtre Ouverte Sur Le Jardin beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für EUR 20.000,00 versteigert wurde.
