This price was achieved in the auction The Curator’s Eye: The Collection of Professor Dr Karin von Maur at Christies in Amsterdam and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Raymond Hains have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre, 1967 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 334,584.00.

Die Arbeit ohne Titel von Raymond Hains war einem Käufer im Mai 2021 EUR 68.750,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion The Curator’s Eye: The Collection of Professor Dr Karin von Maur bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raymond Hains auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1967 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 334.584,00.
