This artwork by Raymond Hains achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2021. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work La Belle Helene, Jacques Offenbach - 1966 sold for EUR 67,600.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Raymond Hains have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre, 1967 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 334,584.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Raymond Hains erzielte im März 2021 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit La Belle Helene, Jacques Offenbach - 1966 für EUR 67.600,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raymond Hains auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1967 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 334.584,00.
