In March 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Made In Britain, which included the work Poisson Sur Un Papier by Raymond Guerrier. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,419.47), 46% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raymond Guerrier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fish And Bottles, which sold at auction in March 2006 for USD 6,600.00 (€ 5,437.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Im März 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made In Britain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poisson Sur Un Papier von Raymond Guerrier zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 2.419,47) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Raymond Guerrier mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fish And Bottles beobachtet, die im März 2006 für USD 6.600,00 (€ 5.437,02) versteigert wurde.
